* Reworking layout of Ponyrom.Doc for better understanding & Register.Frm
to be released at a later date. Much needed I know, I am working on it!
* Added a way for non-Wildcat! systems to turn off the asking for RIP support
prompt. Create a file (any file) called DONTASK4.RIP in your \PONYROM dir
and it will not ask the user if they can support RIP. (works with non-
Wildcat! only). It will not read this file, so it doesn't matter what is
in it. It just needs to exist to turn off the asking prompt (and RIP).
* Added support for External RIP graphic/Mouse Support Graphis EGA/VGA screens,
if Wildcat! and DOOR.SYS says in RIP mode will try to send .RIP, then .SCR,
and finally .BBS for display and menu files. If not Wildcat!, will ask user
if there modem program can support RIP graphics. If they can, will try to
send .RIP, then .SCR and finally .BBS for display & menu files. Otherwise,
standard .SCR / .BBS files stay the same as in the past versions modes. Even
if you can't/won't/don't know of or support RIP graphics, it will still work
for your users in .RIP mode, without the sysop doing anything different as
in the past versions (ie strait out of the box). Extra screens available to
those that wish to use this new "STANDARD" in EGA/VGA/Mouse support
technoligy. (See PrimeNet(tm) bulletin # 13 for more information on RIP
Graphics!)
In addition to all the external RIP files (same as all .BBS/.SCR filenames)
there is 4 extra .RIP only files. POSTAREA.RIP, LISTFILE.RIP, PROTOCOL.RIP,
DOWNLOAD.RIP. I suggest you leave these alone (unless you are good with the
RIPscript <Grin>).
